Jej ve\u013ek\u00fd v\u00fdznam a\u00a0naplnenie vn\u00edmali kres\u0165ania od prv\u00fdch \u010dias Cirkvi. Napr\u00edklad, archeologick\u00e9 vykop\u00e1vky v Nazarete, na mieste, kde teraz stoj\u00ed Bazilika zvestovania, odhalili grafity na sten\u00e1ch star\u00e9ho \u017eidokres\u0165ansk\u00e9ho obydlia z tretieho storo\u010dia, na ktor\u00fdch mo\u017eno \u010d\u00edta\u0165 XE M (chaire Maria).<\/p>\n<p>Kla\u0148a\u0165 sa mo\u017eno iba Bohu, ale \u201e\u00facta Cirkvi k Preblahoslavenej Panne M\u00e1rii patr\u00ed k samej podstate kres\u0165ansk\u00e9ho kultu. Tento kult, hoci je celkom osobitn\u00fd, sa podstatne l\u00ed\u0161i od kultu ador\u00e1cie\u201c (KKC 971).<\/p>\n<p>Emeritn\u00fd p\u00e1pe\u017e Benedikt XVI. n\u00e1\u0161 vz\u0165ah k\u00a0Bohorodi\u010dke vyjadruje t\u00fdmito jasn\u00fdmi slovami: \u201eKla\u0148anie ch\u00e1peme ako pokorn\u00e9 a\u00a0bezpodmiene\u010dn\u00e9 uznanie absol\u00fatnej Bo\u017eej vzne\u0161enosti nad v\u0161etk\u00fdm stvoren\u00edm. M\u00e1ria je stvoren\u00edm ako ka\u017ed\u00fd z n\u00e1s. Vo viere je na\u0161ou Matkou. A rodi\u010dom predsa m\u00e1me preukazova\u0165 \u00factu. Uctieva\u0165 M\u00e1riu je biblick\u00e9, preto\u017ee ona sama hovor\u00ed: \u201eH\u013ea, od tejto chv\u00edle blahoslavi\u0165 ma bud\u00fa v\u0161etky pokolenia&#8220;. (Lk 1, 48)<\/p>\n<p>Preto Cirkev pozn\u00e1 mari\u00e1nske p\u00fatnick\u00e9 miesta, sviatky, akatist, mari\u00e1nske piesne a modlitby, napr\u00edklad ru\u017eenec, ktor\u00fd je s\u00fahrnom cel\u00e9ho evanjelia. Bohorodi\u010dke teda patr\u00ed \u00facta ako matke n\u00e1\u0161ho P\u00e1na (porov. KKC 971).<\/p>\n<p>Posv\u00e4tn\u00fd ru\u017eenec nie je iba modlitbou \u017eien. Mnoh\u00ed velik\u00e1ni sa ju modlievali. Na tomto mieste spome\u0148me sv. J\u00e1na Pavla II., p\u00e1pe\u017ea, ktor\u00fd povedal: \u201eRu\u017eenec je moja najob\u013e\u00fabenej\u0161ia modlitba.
